Goodbyes are hard. And unfortunately, they are very much part of missionary life. I think goodbyes are even harder when they are frequent. They don’t necessarily get easier with practice.
In my previous article for Simply Surrendering I wrote about how to tame a picky eater and gave some quick tips for overcoming picky eating. In this follow‐up I will address the best way to introduce new foods as well as what to do if you suspect your child has a medical issue hindering them from a nutritious diet.

Children are a blessing from the Lord, but sometimes they can feel more like a test. This is especially true if you have a picky eater. There is some hope in this area, and while it does take effort from the adult in the situation, you don’t have to let a young child dictate the menu in your home.
