I had so much fun making these whimsical pieces for my paper clips. Do you ever just want to dress up those dreary paper clips? Well, here is something fun that you can do by yourself, with a group of friends or involve your kids. I first saw this idea while watching a periscope with Mackenzie at BoldTurquoise.com and Erika at chaoticblessing.com. Then I searched on the internet and Pinterest and thought I could do this with the many Stampin’ Up! stamps that I have stashed away from 10+ years ago. So this is what I decided to do. I hope you take a few minutes everyday to read books that inspire you, learn a new skill and creat something beautiful. Enjoy!
Small Paint Brush
Step 1: Cut your paper into strips (a little bigger than your stamp image).
Step 2: Cut into squares or rectangles, depending on your stamp image. Stamp your image onto your card stock and color.
Step 3: Cut out your stamped image and number them on the back. Trace your cut piece onto another piece of card stock and cut out your traced images. Remember to number your pieces the same number as your original image (on the back) so that they will line up when you glue them together.
Step 4: Match up your numbers and begin applying your glue. Before gluing them together put your paper clip in between the pieces.
Step 5: Allow to dry completely before using in your planner or notebook! Enjoy!
